Jen was great to work with selecting the patterns and helping pick the product. That was the highlight of the entire experience.  We went with Made in the Shade because their product would allow a flush installation with the depth of our windows. Installation was a nightmare. I ordered roller shades in Feb, they attempted installation in late April but one of the cassettes was round instead of square. I also had to ask the installer to go back and install the shades so they were flush, which is the whole reason I ordered from them. Side note, the contracted installer was rude and not helpful. He made me feel like I was inconveniencing him by asking to install the shades flush. They reordered the shade (another 8 week wait) but somehow the shade was again incorrect, round instead of square. After another wait, the final shade was installed in June. This installation was fine by their in house installer Raul, great guy. Him and Jen were the only two positive highlights from the experienced. After the Raul left, I found a hole in the shade just installed with a piece of tape over the hole (clearly someone was trying to hide something, unsure if he placed the tape or if it was done elsewhere). I called Made in the Shade and the woman said they would talk to the owner. This was in June. Last week (Oct) I received a call to schedule and replace the shade. Zero communication the whole time from June until Oct. After all of that they only offered a $200 discount which didn't even cover the cost of installation. Horrible customer service.

I don’t even know where to start! EVERY aspect of our experience was exceptional! We had two rooms with a tricky configuration. I knew what I wanted,, and Jen, Carrie, Josh, Gus, and Raul brought it to life! This group/company is the best. I shopped around, and when others said no way..can’t be done, Made in the Shade said YES..we can do that! Our experience with Made in the Shade was wonderful from the start.  Michael Hart was a great Design Consultant.  I love someone who will offer their opinion when you ask them for it, and Michael did that.  The fabric shades in our dining area are beautiful and just what was needed in that area. Jan, the interior designer, has an excellent taste.  She helped us to pick the color (Llama 5801) of the blinds by looking around the living room furniture, cushions etc.  We really like how it turned out- gives soft look to the room.
