Made in the Shade San Antonio is personal for Josh and Jess Morse. Josh was born and raised in San Antonio, and his family’s roots in the window treatment business started here when his mother opened the original Made in the Shade in the early 90’s.
Josh grew up around the business and later built his own experience in the field, working with thousands of homeowners, measuring windows, learning products, solving installation challenges, and seeing firsthand what separates a good window treatment company from a great one.
Today, Josh and Jess locally own Made in the Shade San Antonio. Josh also serves as the owner of the Made in the Shade franchise system, helping support locally owned Made in the Shade businesses across the US and Canada. But San Antonio is still home, and this location remains deeply connected to the community where it all began.

Carrie is our General Manager and the steady voice of the office, helping customers, supporting the showroom, and keeping the experience moving smoothly from consult start to install finish. Michael brings more than a decade of industry experience and is known for being extremely detail-oriented. Jen brings a strong background in design and sales, along with the personality that helps customers feel comfortable and confident. Cyndi is family to Josh and the sister of Made in the Shade founder, Cathy Morse. With years of experience, she brings strong communication, product knowledge, and a personal connection to the history of the brand.
